My story

I’ve always been obsessed by travel. My Dad travelled internationally for his job, and every year as a boy, I’d receive a raft of postcards from exotic places, telling me his fascinating tales of distant lands. I still remember the bright colours and those strange stamps. Those humble cards ignited something in me that still to this day, I have been unable to extinguish.

I love all things luxury, and I’ve been fortunate to have explored and sampled some of the world’s finest hotels and travel experiences over the last 15 years. I continue to do so, and I always will. I do that not only because I love it, but so that I can share my passion and enthusiasm with others, and with my you as my client. To me, sincerity and integrity are everything.

After many years of working with some of the UK’s top luxury holiday companies, I made the decision in 2018 to found and create the Eight Roads Travel Co., a full service, boutique luxury travel design agency.

My sole aim is to make travel personal again. Tailored, bespoke, and perfect for every luxury traveller. Designed, created and offered by me. Here, you’re no number in a call centre, nor just another online booking.

As the Eight Roads Travel Co. is a boutique travel company, it means that I will only work with a small and select number of clients. Getting to know you, and your travel loves and desires, hopes and aspirations, is key to me.

My experience

I have personally stayed at and experienced many of the hot-list or “Best of” hotels and resorts around the world, so that I can discover and offer the perfect accommodation for my clients. For your personal style. We are all so individual and unique, and I get that.

I work predominantly with the finest hotels and resorts in the world. The 5 stars and up properties. However I also love and can offer a refined and carefully curated range of 4 star properties, to suit alternative budgets.

My expertise and experience will benefit you. I will be delighted to share my tips, insights and recommendations, to make sure that your next holiday is absolute perfection.

I travel a lot during every year. I do this for two vital reasons.

Firstly, to grow and bolster my often long-standing relationships with the key movers and shakers in luxury travel. The General Managers, the owners, the designers, the chefs, the staff in resort who I know will bring you your mixed-to-perfection Negroni or only-want-white flowers. Many of these people are now dear friends. Relationships are so important in travel.

Secondly to ensure that I know, inside out, all of the properties that you want to (or will want to!) visit. I’ll spend hours exploring and inspecting, for you as my client, so that I know all the the most gorgeous corners of the resort, which beach is most secluded, which Suite is the most divine, or which restaurant offers the best fresh fish. These are all the things that can make or break your luxury holiday, and it’s my job to know every last detail.

My name, and that of the Eight Roads Travel Co., means something to these hotels, and in turn, as my client, so will yours. The right phone call, the important email, the handwritten note. All of these things will be done to make sure that you receive the best possible treatment and service in these hotels and resorts.

The Eight Roads Travel Co. does not charge any enquiry fees or membership costs. Should you proceed with booking your holiday with me, then my fees are built into the cost of your holiday. Please see below for more details on my fees.

Depending upon your trip, you will normally receive a detailed and clear itinerary, covering all aspects of your holiday. This can be viewed on any device, or if you prefer I can send it to you in the post.

By the end, you will have something completely bespoke. Rare. A one-of-a-kind. It’s where my many years of first-hand experience, knowledge and personal relationships are best invested. In your amazing escape. I know that your expectations are high. The higher the better. If you don’t have a holiday full of memories to treasure, then as far as I’m concerned, I’ve not done my job properly.
